Shijingshan District Food and Drug Administration 2016 Work Safety Promotion Meeting

On September 19, 2016, the Shijingshan District Food and Drug Administration organized the enterprises in the area to hold the 2016 Work Safety Promotion Conference. Director Han of the District Safety Supervision Bureau, Director Gao and Deputy Director Yang of the District Food and Drug Administration attended the meeting.

　　The meeting was chaired by Deputy Director Yang of the District Food and Drug Administration. Director Gao of the District Food and Drug Administration first summarized and analyzed the safety work in the previous period, and praised the companies that have made achievements in safety work. In particular, we praised our company for actively implementing the requirements of governments at all levels, earnestly implementing safety production standardization, taking the initiative to rectify standards, eliminating hidden dangers, and the first batch of safety production standardization standards, and the spirit of perseverance in safety work. He also recommended Mr. Li Lihui, the general manager of our company, as the only candidate among the district Food and Drug Administration and its affiliated companies to participate in the selection of the "Star of Safety Supervision" in Beijing. This is an affirmation of our company's long-term adherence to safety first, and it is also a great support for our future safety work. This honor is an affirmation of Mr. Li's constant emphasis on safety and the affirmation of all employees of C&T.

　　Director Han of the District Work Safety Supervision Bureau then summarized the recent safety situation. Overall, the number of safety accidents and casualties showed a steady decline year by year, indicating that the management of safety work has achieved good results, but safety still cannot be relaxed. Achieving phased results is considered peace of mind, and safe work is a long-term work with no time limit. Leaders at all levels, as the first responsible person for safety of the enterprise, must learn to grasp safety, take the initiative to grasp safety, and be the safety leader of the enterprise.

　　Through this meeting, we have a clearer understanding of the importance and long-term nature of safety work. Achievements only represent the past, and the current work in safety work is our starting point. In accordance with the standards and requirements of safety production standardization work, doing a good job in the investigation and handling of hidden dangers, resolutely implementing safety responsibilities at all levels, and doing a good job in safety inspection and supervision are important basis for ensuring safety.
